But it's rare. Comment by Thottbot All and all, I believe that this set is impossible to complain about for what it was made for. I say this as a balance druid who has specced feral and restoration as well. I like being a balance druid. I do pretty sweet damage, and I can save my own butt if need be.
I am somewhat ticked that druids are shoved into the healbot position once more, except I see Blizzards reasoning. The set is ungodly for any restoration druid, but it just doesnt not spark that much of an interest in me.
Theres no such thing as balance gear unless you wanna go roll on cloth which in my experience a lot of guilds frown upon. Feral druids do have Genesis from AQ40 but it doesnt seem to meet up to standards.
I just think its time for a change. Druids have options, why not use them? Comment by Thottbot If you want an opinion from someone who actually has a druid, then open your ears. Druids are hybrid classes.
We can be all around goodness, be it caster, healer, tank, or DPS. Through Blizzard's own stupidity, they made druids healbots in raid sets 1, 2, and 3. The 2. That means we can be like a mage and cast spells, but we cannot be as effective and efficient at it as the mage.
We can be like a priest and heal, but not be as effective or efficient as the priest. We can be like a warrior and tank, but not be as effective and efficient as the warrior. We can be like the rogue and DPS our hearts out, but not be as effective or efficient as that rogue. No warrior. Feral druid who loves Bear Form: No priest.
Resto druid: No rogue. Feral druid who loves Cat form: No mage. Balance druid. However, what blizzard has done with the Raid sets 1, 2, and 3 is basically force druids to turn into heal-only classes, which raid leaders know, and force it on druids again to respec to Resto to fill in that gap. Because, i can also garrentee you that if a piece of epic armor dropped in MC that was not class specific, was leather, and had GREAT stats for a feral druid. Guess who it will go to?
A rogue. It is not a manditory function of the game that players have to do. You wanna be the best feral druid you can and not have to end-game raid, then try and get the Shadowcraft gear hopefully, without ninjaing any of it and work on that.
Or, get the Feralheart 0. Stats on that set are good for any type of druid. Also, there are non-set items that are good for druids of any type that are NOT in end-game raid instances.
You just have to find them. Well, that is my opinion, and i am sticking to it. Comment by Thottbot i used to be a healer. Set: Your Rejuvenation ticks have a chance to restore 60 mana, 8 energy, or 2 rage to your target. Set: Your initial cast and Regrowth ticks will increase the maximum health of your target by up to 50, stacking up to 7 times. Comment by Thottbot You can't get any of these items directly from the bosses in Naxx with the exception of the ring -- you have to turn in a token plus additional materials to a quest NPC in Light's Hope Chapel to get your item.
The token system is similar to that of AQ 20 and 40 and ZG, in that a particular token can be used by more than one class. In Naxx, the warlock tokens are shared with mages and priests. Warriors and rogues share another token class, while Pallies, Shamans, Druids, and Hunters share the third and final token class. Each of the main bosses of a wing drops two tokens, while the other bosses drop one token.
The armor slot a particular boss drops will always be the same. The lesser bosses in a particular wing will drop the same armor slot, with the exception of the Abomination wing which has 4 bosses instead of the usual 3.
In the Abomination wing, the third boss Gluth will drop one token that any of the other lesser bosses can drop. Not to mention rank 1 HT is great for top offs. Priest t1 has spellpower, druid sets are all healer based, get screwed if feral or balance. The AB rewards trigger me as balance since no spellpower at all. The only hybrid sets are for paladins, and they really only use them in PvP.
But I agree, vanilla itemization is pretty terrible, especially for boomkins. Look at the ZG set, boomy bonus and crit to balance spells on necklace and the whole set is all about healing. Same with AB sets, useless for balance, maybe okay for Resto but feral can use the rogue gear. Wildheart was good when you could upgrade it to T.
Ye but lots of t0. The rogue one is as good as t2. But the stats alone… 21 spirit and 9 int on gloves. Cryptstalker Armor. Cryptstalker Armor Source: Wowhead.

Before you dive into getting the list of materials from this Tier 3 armor guide take a look at the pieces, their stats, and the set bonus.
Yes, overall Tier 3 armor is great. In vanilla, it lasted through much of the TBC leveling process.
