They called the dumplings "sad," said the mac and cheese was fast food-quality and claimed the country fried steak was a heart attack waiting to happen.
Among the responses, Southerners were quick to point out how New Yorkers can't be trusted when it comes to Southern food given what they think barbecue is -- bless their hearts.
